My Noelle Akuma gifs
I made these two* gifs about four months ago, back in July. First* was the standard Raging Demon version, then I made the Kiss Version after having it planned for a while. I was inspired to make these simply because the way Noelle slides over to Kris on the couch in the Weird Route is hilarious, and it made me think "what if she did all that sliding in one go, instead of piecemeal? Like how Akuma slides in for the Shun Goku Satsu? And then she actually hits them with it." Then I made the Kiss Version because A. the way I made Noelle grab Kris kinda looks like she's assertively kissing them on the cheek, and B. it genuinely seemed like she was planning to go in for a kiss or signal Kris to go in for one in the original Weird Route scene.
I really like the end result of these, and I still get a little thrill when I see them pop up in the wild. It's a nice feeling when you know someone liked something you made enough to repost it. I'm posting these here not because I'm vain and want non-anonymous credit, but because I'm vain and want more people to see them and show stuff I made to other people. Hee hee
I originally posted these anonymously, so I understand if you don't believe I'm the original creator. I made this tumblr account right before I posted the Kiss Version under the username 'hob' on /doe/, thinking people could compare my account age and the posting time as retroactive semi-proof, but I didn't realize that other people can't see when your tumblr account was created, so that won't help. I could probably prove it using the project files, but I don't feel super inclined to go through the trouble; believe me or don't. Either way, please enjoy the gifs!

/*These are actually the second and third versions I made of this gif. When I first made the original Raging Demon version, I was so hyper-focused on Kris and Noelle's sprites that I didn't notice the Noelle's Room background does not contain the furniture by default -- those are separate sprites. You may occasionally see people post the true first first version, with blank walls and no furniture. Going back and adding in the furniture, especially those wall snowflakes, was a big ol' pain in the ass, so it slightly damages my soul whenever I see someone still posting that no-furniture version.
(Before I made and posted the furniture fix, I made the joke that the furniture wasn't visible because Kris glued Noelle's furniture to the ceiling as a prank, which was also why she was hitting them with the Raging Doemon to begin with.)
I remember once reading a piece of advice to not tell people about or show them projects you're working on, since being praised for what you've done so far might trigger the "project complete" sensation in your brain and make you less likely to actually finish. In the case of the Kiss Version of this gif, the reverse was true: if I hadn't told people I was planning to make a version with kisses, I likely wouldn't have bothered finishing it.
When I was getting frustrated with the kissing animation, I probably would've just said "fuck it, no one knows I was planning to make this, so they won't care if I quit." But there was one person in Deltarune threads who kept asking when the Kiss Version was gonna be complete, and I couldn't bring myself to let that random anonymous poster down.
