I was obsessed for a while with things changed on the elderly women's faces, their eyes now reveal deep emotions that we might otherwise want to hide, and their minds are full of thoughts every time I met them. It was that autumn morning when the market session just came to an end. I encountered her on the Ma Pi Leng Pass, she was on her way home from the marketing session in Dong Van (Ha Giang, North of Vietnam) I guessed. She was on a wonderful traditional dress which drew my full attention. It was believed that people could make themselves only one traditional brocade dress that should be used in marketing session (weekly or monthly) and festivals due to its meticulous and tireless work for such a sophisticated dress. During the trip, I enjoyed living, eating, playing with ethnic kids, harvesting on the rice fields, gathering around the campfire and having a dinner together. It was simply unforgettable memory in my life, the true love, hospitality and friendliness I was so honored to receive. So though the floors were bare and the paint was in need of loving care, though the furniture lay still without the warmth of its family, it stood all the same, strong beneath the flakes and dirt of years.
