Photographed at Carter Road, khar West, Mumbai, India.
The first 2 pictures show children playing on a polluted beach. This probably happens because lesser fortunate people living near the area have no where to go or it's too expensive to go. This picture also shows potential human wild life clash-prone areas. This is because pollution in those areas stress out the local animals and could increase the likelihood of diseases thus increasing the risk of zoonotic diseases in those spaces.
One of the pictures show Dhobis drying clothes on the rocks in this case leaching of chemicals (cleaning agents) can kill near by mangrove ecosystems and affect other flora and fauna in the region.
The rest of the pictures show waste washed up by the tide which has entangled and settled on the branches of the mangroves.
