What a terrible day for those of us inspired and enlightened by the Mozart of Funk and R & B and just plain awesome. I keep hitting my Instagram to see if people cared more about MY Prince caption or someone else’s. That makes me an asshole if you were wondering.

Prince made some life decisions that I could never make. He was a genius writer, singer and guitar player. I’m just a dad trying to make sense of some weird gift I’ve been given. I wasn’t put here to change the world I don’t think. He was. I’m here to make it a little bit better for just a few. I’m down with that

So, plan on every bullshit pop star and celebrity to do some sort of tribute to Prince for the next few Months or year and watch for Justin Bieber and Nicky Minage to do some shit at the 17 Grammy’s but that man, he was more than if we all gathered together to sing just one verse of his shit. He is the ultimate boss. He was great. He wanted greatness. Listen up young people. He wanted greatness. Not celebrity. That comes easily. Greatness comes with a price.
