Theo looked around the tiresome garage, he wasn’t exactly a car person. He never had been and he wasn’t about to start being one. But here he was stuck in a garage with his dad’s old car. “Just a normal service this time.” he tossed the keys carelessly on the counter. “I’m afraid it’s nothing that exciting.”
Hearing the keys land on the counter, Devon pushed himself from under the car, wiping his hands on his shirt as he stood and made his way over. “I wouldn’t say that. This kind of thing can be plenty exciting. Besides, not everything has to be a challenge. It’s nice to slow down sometimes.” Pulling a pad from below the counter, Devon began scribbling, then tore the bottom part of the paper off, passing it to the man. “Here’s your ticket. Go ahead and give me your phone number, I’ll call you when it’s ready, when you come to pick it up, just show us the ticket.” Pressing the tip of his pen back to the pad, he hunched a bit over the counter. “Big plans today?” He asked, scribbling a bit more.
