To say today was a hot one would be the understatement of the year, and according to the forecast it’s not likely to get better anytime soon. I’m considering moving practice inside; I never thought I’d see the day. Anyway, everyone remember to take care, stay hydrated, and stay cool. Also, it just dawned on me that I’ve reached the point in adulthood where I find it appropriate to comment on the weather via social media. In other news, I’ll be touring a few nursing homes next week, if anyone wants to join.

As unfortunate as it was that I was forced to miss the “festivities” in Lima a couple of weeks ago, I can see that those who attended enjoyed themselves. Congratulations. Perhaps next time, I will have the ability to alter my schedule accordingly. For the sake of attempting to generate interaction (after all, that is the point of this little...Excursion, is it not?), I suppose I should type something for others to respond to. Did everyone, or anyone for that matter, have a good weekend? @atfgstarters​

Whew, what a long day! I have to say, I am absolutely pooped. Usually our super busy days are Mondays and Fridays, but today just came out of nowhere. At least it kept me busy! Does anyone have any plans for the weekend? I’m thinking about looking for something to do- it’s my first weekend off in forever. Let me know!

Waking to a freshly fallen layer of snow is always quite the sight to behold. Im sure it slows some people down, though as luck would have it I’ve been keeping an eye on the weather reports. I knew this was projected to happen, so, I already had my winter running gear prepped and ready to go. I’m attempting to decide what exactly it is I’ll be doing with my day from here, though I seem to be coming up short on ideas. I’ve already completed my morning 5, cleaned and sanitized every room in my house, re-organized my bookshelf, and completed what precious little laundry I’d amassed through the week. Does anyone have any recommendations for Historical Documentaries? I’ve seen nearly all of the ones belonging to Netflix, but I’ve heard tale of a few more interesting ones on Hulu as well.

What. A. Christmas! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday, filled with nothing but love, laughter, and light. I have really enjoyed the chance to spend so much time with my family, it has been much needed. Unfortunately, I’ll be forced back into the real world come Tuesday morning, so I’ll be flying back into New York tomorrow morning. I am, however, already thinking about my New Year’s plans! Has anyone heard of any good parties going on around town? If not, would anyone be interested in attending one? Maybe this year is the year to plan my own. Either way, let me know!

Being back home has been nothing if not cathartic, and that’s just for starters. Seeing everyone again has been something else too. I propose we all share a dinner together before we scatter back to the four corners. Anyone else up for it? @atfgstarters​

Not to be a total downer but I just realized Christmas is coming up. And I literally have no idea how to feel about that.
