i think an enormous problem with people discussing media is a seemingly increasing amount of people who forget a story or whatever is generally being made by another human with their own ideas/goals/plans for the story, and not just some vague “satisfaction checklist” that gives a full star wars expanded universe answer to every minutiae or detail people may suddenly fixate on
