i wasnt prepared for how good this image would be i remember making it but i dont remember it being this good. i know i was melodramatic iwth the visual effects when i made charts but i dont even care because its good. also elopement is made up and its just kids finding life so unbearable they leave but this image already conveys that

i think autism makes kids more susceptible to elopement and i guess its just a name for a symptom but like viewing it as a symptom of autism and thus an issue to be addressed via control is so sad and wrong.

like in my personal experience in childhood with elopement it was almost always a combination of autism symptoms(disregard for social norms, sensory overload) and like the feeling of not feeling safe even when youre with your family or seeing them as part of the thing you need to escape from. theres a disconnect in the first place which makes walking off feel like a natural thing to do

on my second round of trout fishing in arizona we were sharing a dock with these two girls (20s) who were doing it for the first time but catching like trout after trout and then struggling to grip them to get the hook out and one girl, after wrestling the trout into her grip, asked her friend to get her phone out and said quaintly and calmly and happily: "foto con mi fish" and i havent stopped thinking about the phrase.

good point and good video i dont have a functional twitter so i wanna add on my blog i felt this way in new horizons when we were not only encouraged but required to terraform and settle the island like i felt kind of evil for planning and developing streets and clearing plots for houses and planting nonnative ornamental plants. And the more you think about this the more you see it everywhere
