I had the most awesome time shooting this photo of @radiationcity for their new album #Synesthetica released through @polyvinylrecords. Expect magnificent things from these super creative/smart/adventurous/lovely/human beings. Very special thanks to my resourceful team: @nolcal camera assist + @kailynbowenmarcus for her incredible styling + @servicepdx for hosting all our bits + pieces.

'Rock Moving Rock' by Portland artist Jess Perlitz.
Promo shooting for my dear friend/theater director Grace Carter's upcoming adaptation of The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman's for CoHo Production's winter season. Watch for it. Everything this @bravenewgrrl touches turns to gold.
Tomorrow I return home after a week of teaching the most delightful group of students for the California State University Summer Arts 2015 at UC Monterey Bay. Fast and furious, the workshop consisted of daily assignments, lectures + critiques. Here super student Sean Black reimagined 'The Anatomy Lesson...,' by Rembrandt to honor the recent + revolutionary Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage. (at UC Master Gardeners of Monterey Bay)
So thrilled to be exhibiting my work at Fotografica Bogota 2015 - the International Photography Biennial in the marvelous city of Bogota, Colombia. @fotomuseo (at Centro de Comercio Internacional)
Very sad to hear about the great Portland Trail Blazer Jerome Kersey's death. I had the pleasure to photograph him for the 2012 Oregon Cultural Trust portrait series, and he was just so delightful to work with. RIP #jeromekersey 🏀
Such a fun shoot with Pdx-based mystery novelist, Angela Sanders. The protagonist of her books owns a marvelous vintage store, inspired by Portland's jewel, Xtabay. Thank you @xtabayvintage for letting us photograph in your beautiful boutique and thank you @livingthreads for lending these awesome vintage mannequins. They were the perfect characters for a mysterious Sanders-inspired mellow drama. #Slaininschiaparelli #Thelanvinmurders #Diorordie
It's the PDX International Cat Show weekend and time to revisit my little labor of love =^..^= The Elizabethan Collars is a series of 'high society' cat portraits photographed during last year's show. There I transformed a hotel room into a make-shift photo studio and lured my favorite felines to sit for private portrait sessions. Each cat was adorned with an Elizabethan Collar (a term also used to describe the cones cats wear to prevent them from biting or licking their own wounds). This magnificent collar collection is the creation of Portland-based fashion designers who were invited to make one-of-a-kind Elizabethan-inspired collars in their respective signature aesthetics. 'Radiance Rolling in the Deep is wearing a collar by Kate Towers.' Message me if you are a fashion designer with a secret affinity for feline accessorizing.
‘The Watcher Files Project’ by Garrick Imatani and Kia Sand. A collaboration from their shared artist residency at the City of Portland Archives and Records Center, it explores a collection of resurfaced police surveillance files of 1960s, 70s, and 80s activists and civic group.Their interactive, multidisciplinary project opens on MLK. (at City Of Portland Archives And Record Center)

Rockin like a Hurricane with the gals from Rock n Rock Camp for Girls, the final subjects for the Oregon Cultural Trust 2014 Portrait Series. RRC4G is a non profit organization that provides workshops and technical training to build girls' self esteem through music, creation and performance.
Today I met Wesley Vernhoeve on his last day in Portland before hopping on a train to Seattle. He's traveling to 12 cities to capture the stories and portraits of their creative communities for his online series, oneofmany.co. Thanks @wesleyverhoeve for meeting me + allowing me to turn the camera on you.
