I painted this guardian in the fall of 2007. I was inspired to paint many angels, goddesses, guardian type images. In spring of 2008 I found out why I had been hurting so bad in my left arm pit. I was diagnosed with IBC. I, like everyone, was told breast cancer doesn’t hurt. IBC is Inflammatory Breast Cancer; it hurts, it is rare and it grows fast.

Due to the power of positive thinking and a team of AWEsome Drs. I am here today.
