Hey everyone, my cousin, who has McCune-Albright syndrome and is heavily disabled had a near death experience a while back which inspired him to write a script for a sci-fi film about loss, grief, death and the afterlife and He’s in need of a bit of funding in order to get the film up to snuff. I’d appreciate it if you all could pitch in and help out.
I was casting for my short a while back and it’s always very awkward when you get someone who really doesn’t fit the role at all. In my case I needed a woman who would be able to respond to the male lead giving her attitude with a speech tinged with venom about how easy it would be to destroy him if he falls out of line with the criminal organization which requires a certain kind of delivery and vocal flair.
One of the actresses was like 4’10 and I wish her the best of luck but there was no way with her super sweet voice I could buy her as a crime boss laying down the rules who most likely had already had many people killed.
Yo quick pro tip before I vanish again but if you are an indie director or writer just starting out it’s considered bad form to publicly shit on other directors and writers on a public account that you advertise your project on.
