I couldn't resist putting Rimmer alongside the other versions of Aramis

Was reading the Aramis page on the BBC Musketeers wiki and:

In an attempt to protect the King and Queen's lives, Aramis covered his entire body over a thrown grenade.

Rimmer actually did that twice, firstly in Emohawk: Polymorph II and again at the end of TPL and he did it without a second’s thought and all to protect Lister, Cat and Kryten.

Lister was right when he said Rimmer was Aramis after all.

Also in the 1993 movie version of The three Musketeers, Aramis takes a bullet to the chest during the final battle but he manages to survive thanks to his crucifix.

Lister was right indeed, Rimmer is definately Aramis.

Also worthy to note the musketeers are french and Rimmer is known for speaking french on several occasions.
