Mammon is the only brother I would actually believe if he said he fell in love at first sight considering we made a pact with him on day 2 of being in hell and he has strong opinions on who he gives his pact to considering what we learn in Nightbringer about how it should only be someone he loves greatly.

One time Solomon was teaching you magic, asking you to levitate to things at random.

An unlit candlestick. A pencil case. A bug on the windowsill.

"Ew, I'm not levitating that," you said. "It's gross."

The innocent Devildom bug minded its own business and continued to crawl around on its thirty-some little legs, oblivious to insults. Solomon, however, looked perplexed.

"Just levitate it like the other things. You don't need to touch it," he told you.

"My magic would be touching it," you responded.

"But you can't actually feel the bug through your magic, that's something far more advanced than your current level. You would be willing the forces of nature to lift it for you."

"I don't want to will the forces of nature to lift something gross. Why don't you do it?"

The teacher and his student had reached an impasse. Solomon opened his mouth to argue back, but closed it again in bewilderment. He was stumped.
