Hi. Digital ads are consuming my life. Bye.

When it comes to direct mail, a full kit is dependent on its envelope. If the envelope isn’t eye-catching, the prospect most likely won’t look into what you’re trying to sell them. That being said, here are a few concepts I’ve begun with and can hopefully work off of to make something even better!

I had made this a while back but never posted it anywhere. It’s an unofficial concept for the EyeSight® function in Subaru® models. This function will help protect you on the road by following traffic lanes, patterns, and will steer you to safety should you go off track.

GumGum ads are a unique type of ad that will allow you to have an image popping out of the ad frame. You can learn more about them here!

Friendly update! ~
My new Mac is up and running and I've begun designing again! It'll take a day to re-do anything I've already worked on. I'm just glad I wasn't too far into this project and lost anything vital.
Thank you all for your patience and I hope to be posting soon! .xo VECK
Hello friends ~
Sad to say that my computer died this past week. Even sadder to say that I may have lost all of my files. I'll be trying to have someone see about getting my data/files pulled from the hard drive, but it may not happen.
I do have a new Mac already, however it does not yet have my Adobe suite on it due to some unforeseen issues... (Like, why does Apple not have disc ports anymore?). I have a solution and am working on it. Hopefully I'll be back to designing soon and can post my designs again.
Thank you for being patient .xo VECK

Just a few to start. More to come!
New Project!
Hello, it's been a while...
It's almost a year since I managed to pick up a full-time job, making it a little difficult for me to continue art. I struggled to find motivation.
However, now I can happily say that I've found that motivation and am currently in the beginnings of a new project! This project is dedicated to the company, SHIFT MX, owned by Fox Racing. They create gear for Motocross riders, as well as merchandise for fans.
I fell in love with their style and chose to create an unofficial project (meaning I was not asked to do this, nor am I being paid for it). This is strictly for fun, motivation, and a chance to build my portfolio and talents.
I will begin posting on my Tumblr page first, then post more on to other social media sites as I go along. I'm excited to see how this plays out and I can't wait to share it with you!
*Logos and images used throughout the project are owned by SHIFT MX and Fox Racing.

"Sammy Adams WIP_#1" I'm not sure I like the free space by his right shoulder, but when I put text there it didn't look right. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the bars on the side of the text. I may change them to bullet points or re-organize it differently overall. The crown over his head is a part of the magazine's original logo, and to me it symbolizes holding the power to change the world, so I wanted to keep that for all of the future covers. Because this is a WIP (Work In Progress), I wouldn't mind some feedback, pros or cons. If you have a suggestion, feel free to send a message!

SG Medli, aka. Star Guardian Medli, is a friend's username for their gaming account. I have a matching username, SG Tak, and plan on creating matching posters for the both of us. For a more high-res. version, check out the drawing on my DeviantArt page! I'm not terrific at creating environments, so this will most likely remain just the drawing. A colored version may or may not appear.

Here are two spreads I had saved from my InDesign file (I forgot about them since I had been designing in Photoshop..). One of them is a 2 page design while the other is only a 1 page design.
The images were found on Google Images and do not belong to me. The information I obtained came from the Game Grumps Wiki page.

I wanted something to draw, so I chose Miss Fortune from League of Legends. She’s my friend’s favorite character!
I was having trouble correcting her facial proportions, so I skipped to coloring it in and tried shaping things out with the blending. It’s not super terrible, so there’s that..

Here are two of the 6 concepts I have designed already for Suzy’s title page in my (unofficial) Game Grumps Magazine. You can find the rest of the designs on my Facebook page and find more information about this project > here <
Any critiques are most welcome, but please be advised that these are still works in progress and are subject to change. Also, unless stated otherwise, all photographs are found on Google Images and belong to their rightful owners.
I now have a Facebook page! Concepts will still be posted here on Tumblr, but I wanted to give people another site they could use to view the designs (in case they don’t use one site as much as the other). New concept designs available for Suzy’s bio page already uploaded and there are more to come in the near future!
