welp, my capture card kicked the bucket after yesterday's stream >_>

my pc said something about overcharge/wrong voltage... it got blazing hot too

the USB port still works fine thankfully, I tested it with another USB device, but geez that felt a little too close to being a fire hazard...

does anyone have recommendations for a new one by any chance?

I've been trying Linux (specifically Ubuntu) and I'm honestly losing my fucking marbles. Why do my fans start blasting when I have like six Firefox tabs open? Why doesn't half of my fucking drivers work? Why is the App Centre keep on trying to give me a bloody seizure? Legit, it can't display my battery, sound output is a lost cause, and I have to bluetooth tether it to my phone as a workaround for the wifi.

Then I go to the forums to see what other people have done (admittedly I don't post my own issues there), and the advice either isn't working no matter what I try, or is just too advanced for my Windows-born-and-raised ass. Like compositors??? Adding shit to command lines??? Why are there so many commands??? Why do I need to do some much TLC for something I just installed to work??? Like no hate towards the people actually developing these distros, you guys are fucking sorcerors istg, but it feels like I've been dunked into the deep end and I just wish it was a little more beginner-friendly

My phone is lagging so hard and most of my storage has been used. Sadly, I'm an app and tab hoarder.

Please motivate me. Will delete one unused app or search tab for every 2 notes. I can't convince myself to do it, so please peer pressure me.

(Obviously, it has limits since I'm not gonna delete important apps) Go ahead and spam. I need to do it, but I can't

Edit: lowered it from 5 notes to 2 because I need to do this. Just changing that makes me want to cry. This sucks.
