Case Study > 27th Birthday PR Letter and PBD
Before, we have discussed about Luigi's speculated political stand. Is he really centrist or is he a moderate Republican, or was he finding so hard for the middle-ground that he got lost?
If someone is a centrist, wouldn't they be interested to learn more about other independent ideologies or candidates/parties? Why didn't Luigi look into Bernie then (not saying Bernie is an ideal candidate), but observing why? At least Bernie is saying something about his case. He only mentioned independent creators - The American Prospect and Joomi Kim, former democrat, now supports Trump.
Being centrist leaning toward one party won't help the country to "revolutionize" as it divides the political spectrum even more; creating too many sub-ideologies and broken support. Luigi's goal is to make a revolutionary statement since he believes that "when all other forms of communication fail, violence is necessary to survive." Understood. This was a quote he found online to review Ted Kaczynski's manifesto, Industrial Society, and Its Future. However, if he is looking to unite Americans regardless of which parties they support, the movement failed before it even started. Why? It's very simplistic. Americans are divided, u have millions who didn't vote, many are undecided, and u have many who chose to be ignorant, especially about world issues, let alone what's happening in their own country. What makes u think most Americans will get out of their couch and come together?
To have systemic revolution, killing one small fish will only create ripples among elites, but won't fix systemic issues as the board can just find a new CEO. Brian is no policymaker. Luigi has prepared the opening so imagine what 2nd Luigi can do, followed by a group of Luigis, but Americans aren't changing anything, that's his miscalculation. Luigi overestimate the intelligence of his own people. There were a few copycats after, but it's not consistent so it stops. The ones who did similar attacks weren't supported, but ignored. In order for "violent resistance" to achieve anything, it has to be organized and happen on a large scale, which means he needs team work. He should've think of the long-term conclusion.
By writing the 27th PR mass letters, he gave his audience (supporters and non-supporters) the impression that he wanted right and left together in this, but was this more for him than for the people? Some people figured that out quick that this is PR - to gain wider support to escape DP by acknowledging conservatives and liberals lol. He should've added the angle about top and bottom instead. Healthcare needs serious reform. This is something that will have more revolutionary impact as class war affects other parts of the world too. However, doing this means he has to be prepared to be sacrificed. If not, he should've weaved that message indirectly. But he chose his life first.
Fun Fact: He likes reading biography of people he finds interesting, idolize, or likes something about their characters like his fascination with Elon Musk.
He read Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by J.D. Vance. He started reading it on Dec 14, 2020 and finished it on Dec 27, 2020 with review of 3.86 / 5 stars.
However, he added this on "Want to Read" list:
Malcolm X - The Autobiography of Malcolm X Barack Obama - A Promised Land Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf
Elon Musk, Tim Urban 🙄, Max. Who is next? PBD, someone he followed on X before his arrest.
Patrick has been talking about Luigi in his podcast even before his 27th mass letters. This was as early as Dec 2024. Some speculated that Luigi leans more to the right, so why is he being called a leftist shooter? Isn't shooting more of a right-wing thing? Kidding 🤪
As early as June 2025; when the 27th letter dropped, PBD emphasized Point 7 (of course, his book was in it lol):
(7) The countless books I’ve been sent. While I’ll never read the vast majority of them, I’ve loved facilitating this collective practice in tsundoku, and have distributed these books to many grateful inmates. My favorites include Ayn Rand's "Anthem". Patrick Bet-David's "Your Next Five Moves", and Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451".
Here, he told his fans that they sent too many books for his own good, so he has to pass it around. Is this his fault? No. So, those who complained about this, it's on u lol.
People didn't paid much attention until Patrick reiterated again quite recently that Luigi sent two-page letters TO him, and his lawyers called PBD. Only then it started to send mixed signals.
Unfortunately, here lies his blunder - recommending Patrick's book in 27th letter knowing he's a right-wing capitalist zealot, his "plot" loosens. Why? It shows he tends to read/follow more right-wing leaning individuals and he don't find it wrong supporting millionaires/billionaires and capitalists while giving conflicting idea of his case being "anti-rich, anti-capitalist, anti-corporate greed" and doing it "for the people."
PBD advocates for capitalists, he lives for it. Can't use the excuse of his book being about business or entrepreneurship. If PBD advocates for a world of capitalism citing it's all up to able-bodies to "work harder" cause it's a "free market", what do u think his entrepreneurship strategy will be about? 😂 u are still working WITHIN a capitalist world. PBD previously worked for a pyramid-scheme company selling shitty life insurance policies. Later, he copied the same MLM scheme into his now-sold company ... selling another shitty life insurance. PBD is a glorified sales grifter, that's why he sells it to middle-class, why didn't he go for the rich? Cause the rich knows the game he plays, they do the same grift to stay on top 😂
Not to mention, it gives the impression that the face of the movement (Luigi) lacks independent thoughts. He recycled Brave World quote from Dholani's book (misogynistic ideologies), so it's not far-fetched that the idea of resilience was "inspired" from ...... PBD. Yes, Patrick talked about resilience in his speeches. Imagine if Luigi has been preaching about resilience, but the idea was from his favorite grifter. 😂 Well, hope not.
His team and him didn't think this through. If his values do not align "with the people," the message weakens cause his actions are a little all over the place. Sometimes, he sounds phoney. Some might argue his mistake was writing to him (he might want to correct PBD on some things), but is this the right time? It's more damaging that he RECOMMENDED his book in the letter to other inmates, knowing what PBD fiercely stands for! Of all the books he received, he cited PBD as one of his favorite........ If PBD was the one who reached out first, he took the bait. Why Karen called PBD, was it NDA so PBD can't publish the content?
His message is conflicting and some followers don't sit well with things like this. This group of people who are mostly left leaning were the ones donated, write him, or protesting his cause. No one asked them to, some we can see are crazy, but who else will continuously fight it for him? (some are fighting FOR him, not his case lol). Do u see many rich people donating or defending him publicly? Most of his male grifters, even his favorite Tim Urban, pushed him aside. The elites needed a wake up call, and he did that, but Luigi himself almost lost the plot.
Ironic but this was what he wrote in his journal:
"The problem with most revolutionary acts, is that the message is lost on normies. For example, Ted K makes some good points on the future of humanity, but to make his point he indiscriminately mailbombs innocents. Normies categorize him as an insane serial killer, focus on the act/attrocities themselves, and dismiss his ideas. And most importantly — by committing indiscriminate attrocities — he becomes a monster, which makes his ideas those of a monster, no matter how true. He crosses the line from revolutionary anarchist to terrorist — the worst thing a person can be.
This is the problem with most militants that rebel against — often real — injustices; they commit an attrocity, either whose horror outweighs the impact of their message, or whose distance from their message prevents normies from connecting the dots. Consequently, the revolutionary idea becomes associated with extremism, incoherence, or evil — an idea that no reasonable member of society could approve of. Rather than win public support, they lose it. The revolutionary actions are actively counter-productive."
Unfortunately, this happens to him now. He attracts crazy normies who treat this whole case like a Bachelor TV show. Sometimes, his personal life becomes the one on trial, and less about his actual case. His message becomes disorganized, but that's also on him.
adhd anons prob won’t read all this but I did and I liked ur analysis
