The men I follow are courteous and respectful. In return, I'm that way in real life. I have friendships that reflect this way of thinking. We crave a safe and beautiful world so we have all committed to creating one. And I just love that so much.

Hookup culture is destroying men and women.

We were told it was "freedom", no strings attached, no commitment needed, no feelings involved.

But people are more anxious, insecure and emotionally detached than ever. Casual intimacy trains your heart and mind to disconnect physical touch from attachment. One party ends up bonding emotionally, the other ends up numbing themselves emotionally to the situation. Both lose.

All it does is normalize using and hurting people instead of loving them. You can't build a deeper connection while entertaining shallower ones. Real love is intentional and careful, not just a matter of convenience.
