Finished Run Cycle~

On another note I would like to apologize for keeping this blog silent for so long. I have been working on this project still despite I am past graduation (I’m no longer a student but a BFA Graduate! Yay!). I am not proud to admit that my updating skills are terrible. (I’m working on that) And as well i always end up with the mentality that even though this is a process blog I must post finished scenes. But I will be sure to try and post more stuff. (At least every month) For now here is an update of things.

Did a slight alteration in color with the design last night.

Reference Sheet Revised- Remade my characters trying to add a little more shape to them. This is most likely going to be the final designs. Adding more shape to the characters made them look more their age. I kept accidentally making Astrid's boobs way to big. Also I think adding more shape to Astrid's beast form made it look more like her as well as it have more of a feline silhouette. I still have not finished designing Chace's rifle but there isn't much of it in the first film so I've been saving that for later.

Character Sheets- Basic Character front and side views for my personal reference of Astrid and Chace. I Hadn't really finalized Astrid's full animal form before and I like how it turned out. The fur pattern will probably stay the same but I might change the build. Also I changed how to spell Chace's name from using S to C.

Here is a full body color of Astrid. I think I'm going to stick to something similar to this. The scene she is in is not going to be in my thesis pilot but I thought It would be a fun pose to draw her in. I do now from this that i'm going to have to work of backgrounds a little more.

I'm rewriting a new script for the thesis but a lot of what is in this will either be in this thesis or will be a part of future Hunting For Dea series. So for now this is just simply story concepts.

Dea- The Holy Mother

Dea is the creator of the humans and parahumans as well as their world around them. Long ago humans and parahumans were at war against each other over who was more deserving of the holy mothers blessing. One end to the story tells of Dea becoming tainted and consumed by the blood shed and the hate between her children leading them to have to unite and seal away the monster that she became. The other story tells of self sacrifice that brought to peace but brought Dea to lay dormant in the planet forever.
