✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ━━ “ next one’s on me . ” beau said , approaching the bar with a rather tired expression . 12 hour shifts , two call outs , three car accidents . maybe the shock was getting to people , too many distracted drivers … maybe the world was just going insane . he sighed , looking around the bar for a moment , “ so is everyone drinking like it’s in the end of the world , or has it been slow ? ” he voiced to anyone who was listening , preoccupied by getting out his card to start a tab for the night .
“It’s been a bit busy, especially with people learning that they are meant to marry people they don’t really know, but other than those people it’s been slow.” Adriana shrugged, hazel hues glancing down at the people sitting at the bar, before looking at the taller male. “It’s the same story every time someone new comes in.” A light laugh escaped her, before it was fading into a small frown. “Anyways, what can I get cha?” She questioned, while cleaning off the bar top and grabbing the empty glasses from where they were left abandoned.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ━━ pink painted fingernails clenched into fists . held just under her chin , winona couldn’t help but let out an excited squeal . “ that’s ━ that’s like the cutest kitten i’ve ever seen in my entire life . ” she squated down , hoping not to scare the little orange thing away . clicking her tongue softly ( an effort to call the kitten closer ) , winny’s eyes looked up to the nearest person , putting up a hand , “ don’t . move . if you scare them , my life is O V E R . ”
“What? I’ll be sure to let you pet him once I have him in my arms. He was meant to be a surprise for my son, but he got out of the car before I could grab him.” The blonde let out a sigh, while a slight smile grew on her face as she bent down to grab the small orange Scottish fold kitten. “Would you like to pet him? He’s actually quite friendly which is why I think he wasn’t running. Right now, he’s nameless till my son names him, but I’m Eliza it’s nice to meet ya.” The baker offered up a bright smile, while holding out the orange ball of fluff.
Hey, Hello! I’m G, nineteen years old, and I hail from the Est timezone, aka as close to new york city as anyone could be without living there. Also, don’t mind the Bridget gif, I just decided to use it since she’s so amazing and since it captures my essence of hello. Anyways, moving on to my two amazing girls, one who is a bookworm bartender, and the other is a dreamy baker. You can find out everything you need to know about Adriana Hale, and Eliza Martin under the cut.
First up, the sweetest bartender to ever bartend, Adriana Hale.
Her full name is Adriana Celeste Hale, she’s the oldest of three with her youngest sibling being about four years younger than her.
She acts like such a mom to her siblings, since it really just been them against the world, due to the fact that their parents are always busy with work.
Through out school, this girl played soccer and did gymnastics, this actually led to her going to Stanford on a soccer and gymnastics scholarship and she went for a biology major.
While in college she began to bartend, so when she moved back home she decided to carry on with that, just until she found a different job fit for her degree.
This whole thing with the new law and everything, she doesn’t actually have an opinion on it. Mostly since it’s just going to be another quirky thing that goes on with this town, and honestly she wishes that people stop talking about it like it’s the end of the world.
She also thinks it slightly cute cause perfect matches, but also knows that sometimes perfect matches don’t exist.
Personality wise, she tends to slightly keep to herself and tends to curl up with a book on her days off, but she is also slightly open to talking with people at the bar and kinda give her advice on some problems they might have.
Bartenders are the best advice givers, at times right? Doesn’t matter since she is good at advice giving.
Honestly, she’s just a sweetheart who just wants people to be happy and everything.
Moving on, allow me to introduce you to the quirky baker, Eliza Martin.
Her full name is Eliza Grace Martin, she’s the middle sibling of three, and the only girl of the family.
Also, don’t ask if Eliza is short for Elizabeth since she’ll just glare with icy blue eyes and say no. It’s something she hates since she’s been getting it since she was a kid.
Through out her high school years, she was a bit of a wild child who went to a bunch of parties and drank till the early hours.
It slightly toned down once she got to her senior year, figured out what she wanted to do once she got out of school.
She went to the Culinary Institute of America in California, this was also where she met someone whom she thought she’ll be with forever.
They were engaged after being together for five years, she was 23 and he was 24, however that engagement was cut short once she found out he was sleeping with someone else.
So she moved back home, and found out she was pregnant which honestly threw her for a loop, but she was honestly excited to become a mother even though she’ll be raising her kid by herself.
During her pregnancy she opened up her own bakery, which her brothers and dad helped her fix up and developed before it was fully open a few months after she gave birth.
She has a three year old son, named Carter who pretty much became her world. She also pretty much nicknamed him the bakery boy, since if you have a shop kid than you can have a bakery kid.
Aka he was pretty much raised around the bakery, since she always brought him to work with her and still does cause she enjoys having him around.
Eliza is honestly all for this new law, she wants to find someone who is prefect for her, and won’t mind the fact that she has a kid from a different relationship.
Honestly, she just wants to be happy above all and someone she can tell anything do and laugh with.
That’s all I have on these two babes, but if you’ll like to plot or anything just hmu.
What is one word I’d use to describe myself in high school? Hormonal. You were experiencing so many different things at times, and it was so emotional and so difficult to navigate.
‘Everything happens for a reason’ is something that we have to tell ourselves all the time, because it’s good to have the idea that something good is around the corner.
