Being honest creates good character and a good state of mind. Being honest with not only yourself but with other people makes you a truthful person and a good friend. Being dishonest with someone makes you an untruthful person and makes people around you think you are a liar and might think you arnt being honest with them. Even if you might hurt someone’s feelings in the process at least you’re straight up with them.
