lawful neutral. aggressively type a. passionate about problem solving, scheduling, and being right, theodora cannot be said to lack character, although how much of that character the people around her find tolerable is an entirely separate question. the joy she gains from procedure is second only to the joy of working her way through a problem, which is also the only way anyone has ever convinced her to set regulation aside. hungry for intellectual challenge and also validation.

things that would be fun to have:

- anyone from engineering, obviously; theo's A Lot, but also her job is one of the places she is at her happiest, especially if there's Something To Do, so...you know, mixed bag? - i'm v interested in the concept of her being led into definitely illegal exploits (which she is definitely Not About) by challenging her with strategic problems she physically cannot bear not to solve. - someone who regularly makes a point to prove her wrong, the more aggravating for the fact that they're probably often right. honestly please bring this child down a peg or 5 - it may be 200 years into the future, they may be floating through space, but LISTEN. i'm still toying with the idea of theo using her spare time to run a d&d campaign, goddammit. (or at least a d&d-esque rpg ~*~of the future~*~) so if that's something you're into, lmk. - workout pals! alternatively, workout rivals. either way, she works out at the ship equivalent of like 4:45 am every day, on the dot, and would be happy to either incidentally see other people there regularly or drag someone along, kicking and screaming be damned. - she's pretty bad at holding onto romantic relationships, but i think she's definitely fallen into at least a couple rivals/frenemies/enemies + benefits situations (irrespective of gender). she maybe has a problem with being into challenge. - if any of this sounds good to you or you have totally different ideas, always feel free to hmu or discord (cinea#9467) i will be absolutely delighted with absolutely anything

favorite science-fiction book/show/film: WAY TOO MANY. i would die for the imperial radch series, i love gideon the ninth, dark matter, firefly, still only early in my killjoys watch but digging it, vast (a ttrpg show that i would still sell my soul for), many more. also, grew up on animorphs. animorphs 4ever. inject it into my veins.

favorite character tropes: snarky assholes maybe secretly trying to do the right thing; chaotic disasters; characters who just want to watch the world burn; rough-around-the-edges mom friend characters; Wife Guys; characters who are constantly, constantly trying; i-don’t-understand-how-to-make-friends-so-i’m-just-going-to-criticize-you-every-time-i-open-my-mouth-and-assume-that’s-how-this-works characters; HUGE NERDS.

in brief (......ish), things to know about me: i ramble too much, i’m mostly busy yelling incoherently about fictional nonsense, if there is a way to be anxious about something i will find it, i work a 9-5 m-f office job like a very boring, very tired old person, i’m really into d&d and a variety of tv content and am also behind on about 9800 comics, i constantly have 8-18 books checked out from the library and finish about 1 every 4 months.

much more relevantly, some of the vague character ideas i have, none of which i’ve fully settled on: - current ghost gym leader who thinks dad jokes are communication at its most evolved. wildly theatrical & a huge, earnest dumbass. mostly, she wants everyone to have a good time. - maybe a team pride grunt? who joined up mainly because her friend did, even though she complained loudly about what a Terrible Idea it was. also, her concept of making friends is, like, critiquing their fashion choices. she’s a mess. - a breeder who was definitely supposed to have a go at becoming the champion one day bc it’s a Family Thing and A Matter Of Pride and his older sister’s a star trainer as the family name demands or whatever and he went off to live on a farm and take care of lots of weak, fluffy pokémon there he loves very much. - host of a radio show who does these way-too-into-the-weeds philosophical think pieces, who’s constantly on the verge of getting shut down — which may not be helped by the fact that he’s suddenly started including investigative journalists with ideas just this side of dangerous?
