starting to notice a theme where characters who have a familial death as a main turning point in their story are my least favourites

Ok so, this isn't about the new update whatsoever, BUT!

Did you know miHoYo has their own voice bank (like a Vocaloid voice bank)? It's on a program called DeepVocal, which is basically UTAU but Chinese. I'm not too familiar with the program but it does seem to have a friendlier interface than UTAU, don't know much else.

The voice bank is based one of the characters called Kiana from Gun Girl Z and Honkai Impact (Its not her actual voice actor since Kiana's VA has already lent her voice to Luo Tianyi, who is a Vocaloid, who you need to pay for to use. So doing a free voice bank with her voice is out the question.)

But anyway, since they've made a voice bank of ONE of their characters, do you think that we might get a voice bank of a genshin character?

Might just be me but like, have you HEARD some of the Chinese VAs singing?? I'm on my knees please??!!

Can someone who knows literally anything about architecture please tell me the main difference between Khaenri'ah and Celestia's architecture? I feel like I keep getting them mixed up.

paimon and traveller's relationship is the most underrated in the series, like i dont feel like the fandom really captures the chaotic synergy the two share. its like the two actually share a braincell. alot of their dialogues seem like they're helping to set up each other's jokes too and i just think that wholesome.

but the more i think about it, the more sad i get, because they treat paimon like a little sibling and i cant help but wonder if this was the dynamic the twins had before they were separated

Thanks to Eula's demo I now have a hc that every cryo character is an excellent dancer and I have reasons why (for some characters)-

Qiqi- She needs to exercise or her body stop moving properly so dance could be something she'd take up.

Diona- She's basically a cat, swift on her feet and probably flexible, hell look at her shoes!! That takes some real talent to not immediately fall over!

Chongyun- Mostly basing this off of the way he moves with his claymore.

Kaeya- Look at that man, you know he can dance.

Also most cryo characters wear pants and not skirts (or at least have tights on) so it'd be alot more comfy to dance in.

I'm kinda annoyed bc it would be so interesting if Scara's just a lil motherfucker bc his vision got stolen. New lore being the reason why.

Consider, Scara's vision is stolen. He leaves Inazuma quickly and is knocked out by the lightning. He wakes up on the beach of a region (Unknown) and his memory and empathy gets caught up in the tide and washes away. His memory's faded so much by the time he becomes a fatui member he's not his old self, he is just Scaramouche. Well, other than the times he acts. It's like a rotting dead body, that he doesn't remember the identity of due to his decomposing face, chained inside him that he props up to convince everyone it isn't dead. He doesn't even remember why he hates Baal, there's just a roaring rage inside he can not quell.

And now think about when Scara gets his vision back. Scara's flooded by his body's past and empathy, while the new found humanity is horrified by the Harbinger's actions. He's conflicted and has a massive identity and morality crisis over the course of the story trying to figure out who to be, the old him or the him he's been his whole life.
