First day on the job

They entered the elevator and the CEO pulled out a key. “This floor can only be accessed by those who have a key and the keycode.” Using the key and deftly entering the code, he continued, “The training facilities are below street level. Employees who work in the building and those you will be working with rarely meet. I prefer to keep the two separate.” The descent continued, “Some of your trainees have had either police or military training. However, there will be those who have had neither.”

Angel nodded he was use to dealing with all types of recruits "That won't be a problem sir. I will have them in shape and ready for service." he said with a firm look on his face

Yo! I'm your Turk for the mission today! Let's go!

Angeal just sighed “Oh fun for me.” he deadpanned

Angeal nodded as he got in making sure that he had everything before getting on and strapping himself in the chopper “So where are we headed?”

Reno got the chopper ready to depart without slowing down. “Wow. And I thought SOLDIERs were supposed to pay more attention to missions than that.” He readied himself at the controls and the chopper rose into the air. “Fort Tamblin, ya know, in Wutai?”

Angeal nodded “Right. I am guessing we are scouting the area for a future raid?” he asked the Turk as he took out his phone to check his messages

"Yeah. That’s us, finding out information for future confrontations." Reno laughed before turning the helicopter towards their destination.

Angeal nodded "So stealth it is." he simply said as he hoped the Turk could operate in stealth, but then again he was a Turk so he had to be at least good at that "So Reno was it? Why did they assign me with you on this one?"

The Warrior and the Emperor

"Friendly spars do not send my soldiers running to the hills like little children." He observed the two a moment longer, one outwardly defiant, the other defiant within. "Should you two wish to continue, please do so outside of the walls."

Angeal bowed his head “I am sorry sir, it shall not happen again.” he felt really bad about what happened as he turned to the knight “I am sorry, i didn’t mean to get you in trouble.”

Mateus acknowledged the apology with a wave of his hand before turning back to enter the castle again. 

The Knight stood quiet for a minute before answering, “It wouldn’t be the first time. Nor the last.”

Angeal nodded "Still i am sorry about that." he held out his hand "Angeal Hewley." he introduced himself "I have to say, your skill are amazing. They rival myself and my friends." he then remembered his fellow SOLDIER 1st class teammates

Angeal watched as his friend took the stage “So it begins.” he said as he adjusted himself in his seat and just watched still a little upset that Genesis had not called him or invited him personally

Genesis smiled as he greeted the crowd, “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the very first showing of ‘Fall of Honor’.” He glanced at the box he had reserved for Angeal, the same as he had every night prior. Seeing his old friend’s face made him both nervous and happy at the same time. Realizing he had been silent longer than he intended, he continued, “I thank you for your continuing support of the Banora Theatrical Troupe, and I hope that you shall enjoy tonight’s show.” With a flourish and a bow, he concluded, “Let the show begin.” The lights went down and he disappeared back behind the curtains.

Angeal just smiled and clapped with the rest of the crowd as he watched the beginning of the show 'Always Mr. Articulate Gen.' he thought with a grin

Angeal finished setting up as he slid red chips to Genesis “here you play red and i will play black. You read the rules?” he asked him as he hoped that this game went smother than there card game

Genesis smiled brightly, “It matches our hair.” He picked up a red piece before asking, “Who goes first?”

Angeal looked at him "I will let you go first." he said as he looked at his chips "I guess they do." he chuckled as he waited for Genesis to take his turn

Angeal opened the box and handed Genesis a little paper book “Read this, this will explain how to play.” he said as he set up the game

He took the booklet and began reading. This, he realized, made a lot more sense. All the rules were laid out from the beginning. Maybe this time he wouldn’t annoy Angeal so much.

Angeal followed the usher as he was lead to his private box as he noticed the lack of people “Guess i get the VIP treatment huh.” he said as he took his seat as he leaned back he could see the entire stage from where he was at “Not bad on the seating.” he then got to take in all the architecture “Wow pretty nice place you built Gen.” he then took a look at the program

He checked his reflection in the mirror and decided it would do. No one would be able to see the dark circles under his eyes thanks to the amazing makeup people he’d hired for the play. He grinned at his leading actor and friend. The crowd grew quiet outside the curtain as the lights dimmed. Pulling forward his cocky attitude, he swept the curtain aside and went to introduce his new play.

Angeal nodded "That would help." he said to him as he stood up and followed Mateus down "What experience do some of them have?"
