the reason chozen never got married nor had kids; is because he’s homosexual.

it’s not hard for him to admit these days because of the open minded world. but when he was a teenager and most of his young adult life- he hid his sexuality especially from his uncle. he got engaged once to a woman of his uncle’s choosing just to please him. but when no love was given, the marriage was off.

he’s still close friends with her and often enjoy little cafe brunches to catch up. is even the sensei to her children as he teaches them. 

he doesn’t have to live up to high expectations anymore so he’s more free.
