"We could call our new album a work of love."
Kaioh: *glares at Hyo*
For most of the 90s, Rasho (led by frontman and bassist "Majin" Kaioh) has been one of the most recognizable names in the metal scene. Now, in the 00s, the record company wants something more. What better idea than adding a second singer? One who can sing clean, for once? That's how Kaioh finds himself forced to share the stage with pretty boy Hyo ("until last week he was singing about broken hearts, and now he shaves his head to look more "metal"...pathetic."). To make matters worse, they both come from the same town. They've been to school together. And it's kinda hard to focus on your music when you're in the same room as the guy who knows all of those secrets you've kept hidden for 20 years (also you might have kissed once, but he seems to have forgotten the whole thing and you were both drunk at the time, so maybe it didn't really happen).
Welcome to the Mandatory Rockstar AU
(also these are some of the details bc I'm a nerd. The print on the tshirt, the back of the vinyl with the autographs, Kaioh's "majin" ring (I'm not satisfied at all but I can't find a better japanese font), Kaioh's tattoo of himself, his tattoo of the emblem of his army, and Hyo's top with a screencap from the anime)
