100/365 reasons to pray
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

PRAY
Sometimes we are called into times where we must completely trust God’s plans for us. Whilst a man with a flawed character and unpredictable policies on the economy and welfare of America has been called to lead the country, pray that love WILL ALWAYS prevail. Pray that a man's words character will not define a nation. Despite the reality of a flawed Republican Party and Congress, pray that future political decisions will be made based on love and equality for every community, every disadvantaged person and every minority group; especially in the areas of police brutality, immigration, gun laws, climate change, global relations, and the economy.  Pray that decisions regarding trading relationships, international treaties and participation in wars will be filled with wisdom. More importantly, remember that how we react to this Presidential Election reflects our attitude, our character, and  reflects how much we trust that God is bigger than an uncertain future.Â
Michael Brown Jr. (May 20, 1996 – August 9, 2014)
The mountains may disappear, and the hills may become dust, but my faithful love will never leave you. I will make peace with you, and it will never end.” The Lord who loves you said this.‬‬

BLACK LIVES MATTER
Even though I am so far removed from the situation and in another county, my heart still breaks for what is happening in Dallas, America. My heart breaks for those lives lost, and my heart breaks even more that police brutality is alive and active. A person is a person with a heart, a body, a soul, a personality with friends and family, and so much more. To think a black person is treated any less than someone else disgusts me. How dare law enforcers act brutally towards someone based off their own narrow minded, ingrained bias and racism towards the black community. Do not mistake me, I mourn for those police officers families who have lost fathers, sons and husbands, but I do so with a heavy heart that also mourns for the injustice towards the black community, and mourns for all those lives that have been taken because of police brutality. BLACK LIVES MATTER. ALWAYS. Yes, I do believe God is a God of justice, and I know all lives matter to Him and I believe that too. But, we live in a society that does not believe all lives matter, we live in a society where particular types of people and their lives seem to "matter" more than others. Because obviously the black community is constantly treated like their lives don’t matter, not just in present times, but have been for many many years(too many years). Hence why BLACK LIVES MATTER, hence why we need to RAISE the black community up, we need to VOICE their hurt and their feelings and their thoughts, acknowledge that white privilege is alive and well (and not just acknowledge, but actively setting an example of what it looks like to understand where someone is coming from, and treat them with an educated, un-preconceived attitude) and work towards protecting black lives, honouring black lives and loving people NO MATTER WHAT.
Sending my love and prayers during this awful season.
Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
