I found this YouTube channel run by this really nice retired middle aged couple that travel the world doing slow tourism and so many times they’re like oh we had such a nice time in this or that country it was so fun and safe and everyone is so nice.

I watched part of this series once about this guy unicycling around the world and my main thought was man. It must be nice to just go places with your body as is and be relatively confident that you won’t have to hide yourself and avoid eye contact. No information gathering ahead of time. Head empty ride unicycle.
When I travel within my own country even I get my chest felt up and inspected every time I fly. Sometimes my crotch. Sometimes I feel the need to wear extra layers of clothing if I go to a different part of the city I live in. I need to do extra research of what to expect when going to a different county sometimes.
And people are just out there. Stepping across country boarders no thoughts no research just yolo living my best life. Do cis people know just how good they’ve got it? They can just. Cross town. Know what I mean?

ive found that partially treated mental illness can sometimes look to uninvolved onlookers like faked mental illness.
"someone who really has pOCD would be disgusted and horrified at their intrusive thoughts" or maybe i'm in therapy & am going by the books, being radically ambivalent to my intrusive thoughts instead of wasting energy mentally washing my paws of sin. i'm not going to perform my rock bottom for you for the sake of being believed.

This goes for all types of disability actually. Sorry if you don't think I act like I'm in enough pain to be disabled by chronic pain. But I'm not going off my meds that help control it just so you can properly sympathize with me.
