"i'd say i could use the force, but that only works on the weak minded and peli's about as hard headed as your beskar," luke muttered, although he didn't sound anything other than amused. if left to his own devices, luke probably would have just eloped with din, no witnesses present besides grogu and then happily moved onto the honeymoon, but leia (and a couple others) thought that their wedding should be something celebrated, something where they should get to see people being happy for them. now, even if it had taken more time, luke could admit that he was having fun - mostly. "i'm not sure if they noticed me slipping away, but if they did, it's your turn to listen to them next."
