I know many of us (americans/westerners) may have trouble fully understanding what it means to endure genocide. It is so big, so absolutely encompassing, that from our place of relative comfort, it can be hard to even imagine it.
But we need to imagine it. We need to empathize, and help wherever we can.
Enas is a widowed mother with two young children. She has fought and struggled for years to keep her family alive, against mounting odds. And it is getting harder, not easier.
Imagine losing everything so many times over, that it becomes a part of life. Imagine your children weeping from hunger, fear, and exhaustion. Imagine your world being reduced to brutality, with no hope or help but from stangers through a screen.
You are that stranger. You are that hope. If you can help at all, please, please do.
I appeal to you with all my pain and suffering. We are living in difficult conditions as a result of the war in Gaza. Our homes have been destroyed and our dreams have been shattered. We are stuck in Egypt after my wife and I lost our jobs. My family lives in constant fear. My brothers, mother, and father also live in Gaza. These catastrophic conditions are the result of bombing and genocide. They are facing an endless nightmare, and I need your help. My daughter Mearah is dying slowly before my eyes, and I have nothing but prayers and a desperate cry to the world.
Mearah is suffering from severe malnutrition and extreme wasting due to the brutal siege on Gaza. No food, no medicine, no milk... no glimpse of hope.

A Voice from Beneath the Rubble: We Do Not Want to Die of Hunger
The war has returned to us in a criminal and inhumane way, without any rules or restraint. Camps and hospitals are being bombed, children and medics are being killed in cold blood, and all international prohibitions have been violated.
Death rains down from the sky, and hunger consumes us from the ground.
We are trapped between two fires, there is no escape from the bombing, and no salvation from starvation.
My little child cries out from unbearable hunger, and I am powerless to comfort him, We have nothing left to eat except some green herbs I boil, hoping they will ease our hunger. 💔
In the past five days, we have received only 5 dollars, not even enough to buy bread for my child for a single day, Donations have tragically declined, and we can no longer afford even the bare minimum of necessities. 😥
Entire families have been forced to flee their homes under the relentless bombardment. Even the area they push us to, claiming it is "safe" (Al-Mawasi), is bombed daily without mercy.
The crossings are closed, aid is blocked, and escaping to a safe country is impossible.
It is a systematic plan of slow genocide, by missiles and by hunger.

Unfortunately, as a minor with no job and whose family is going through personal and financial problems, I am unable to donate.
That being said, my situation still allows me to eat the food that I need, and sleep in a safe space. I honestly can't believe that thousands of people out there don't even have that. A privilege I often forget I have.
For now, I could do nothing but pray for your family, and anyone else who may be in a similar situation. Hope that this, or any other of your blogs reach the right people who are able to donate.
