Close Trump aide Hope Hicks resigns

The president's communications director says she has achieved all she wanted to in the White House.

Despite the claim that “this is not related to the testimony before Congress” the timing is incredibly suspicious. 

She has admitted to lying for Trump AND she is widely suspected of having lied before Congress on the orders of Trump.

These two things cannot be a coincidence and NOW she resigns, giving up her post in The White House and possibly leaving the administration altogether?

Does The White House and the man currently squatting in The Oval Office really expect anyone to believe that these three facts are unconnected?

She was either pushed or asked to go before she could be forced to testify under oath and under subpoena while still a part of the administration. 

But the thing I don’t get is - she can still be forced to testify under oath and under subpoena even if she has resigned, can’t she?

What does this actually get her, other than the racist, bigoted piece of crap in The Oval Office being able to say “no member of my staff has ever lied under oath”?
