not trying to make light of the core message of obsession but i was, as always scrolling through my own Instagram profile; just like bear was scrolling through Nikki's, and snapped myself like the one wish willow in two and could see myself in bear and nikki simultaneously.

there is a side of me that's cool, has dreams and aspirations. wants to quit my job, actually make something out of my life. and there's the other side - insecure, imposter, scared of losing it all, stuck in the comfort of bare minimum.

the aspirational side of me doesn't like the insecure side of me, naturally. though there is a kind of kindred bond she feels towards her, an understanding of where the insecurity stems from, it is a weight pulling her down.

I wonder what would the insecure me wish for?

to be loved by the aspirational me?

what would it mean? being satisfied with the bare minimum? laying frozen behind the door as life keeps happening outside? feeding on the dead?

would I stop finding myself worthy after all? would I wear the skin of what could've been?

who would I kill to stop it all? who would i be?

I think this scene is also so significant because we know now that before the fire when the queen and the late king were fighting, they both were there, and they both heard it. not sure if the kid King understood what was going on but surely if jinmu gets to know that Ian was there at the scene he would be pissing his pants

ok Just hear me out. episode 9 was STRESSSSSS and I'm alr pissing myself thinking abt ep 10. but I have a feeling that the pm has not actually joined hands with the queen mother cz there's no way he would do that.

do yall remember huiju's car brake failure incident, ya, what happened about it? nothing. her brother tried investigating but it led nowhere. but we weren't shown anything about how the prince and the pm investigated it (apart from the whole breakup thing). do yall really think they haven't investigated and found out that the same villain guy is behind it??

and even now, the prince flipped the entire palace to investigate this poisoning case, and it just got buried again???

YALL THESE PEOPLE ARE SCHEMING I'M TELLING YOU cz literally from who's ass did the queen mother pull out the contract??? even if it was her father, where did he get it from.

IAN - the man who's been holding the royal document promoting him as the king for years, he's not going to crumble this easily. I think he knew something. he def saw this coming. which is why he maybe asked the pm to show the evidence to the queen mother so they could show their worst faces right now. I think Ian is waiting for the right moment. when these people are heating up the furnace thinking Ian is going to fall, he will strike just when it's the hottest.

I refuse to believe that the pm is evil and I refuse to believe even more that Ian did not see this coming. My guy knew. he is prepared. ISTG. PLEASE 🙏

what is the first thing u notice about people? and why is it the rejection in their eyes, the fact that they will never choose you. you scantily clad in self worth, apologising for having that much still. do you wonder if they notice your desperation first or your charm first? the desperation handed down by your mother and the charm learnt from some internet essay. have you ever seen their eyes when they see their own kind? how their hands reach for each other, how their legs always in sync. and have you seen their eyes when they see you? or do you divert your gaze first to unsee your own lack. sometimes it looks cute, sometimes even brave. but most times it's just a back turned towards you. is it funny to you? how you float like a feather, how you amount to nothing? are you free or are you just null? is it only when they pick you up and glue you on their scrapbook will your quest be completed? or will you wait till dust consumes you in a dark corner. is it funny how the sun always shines whether you come out of your room or not? is it funny how the rain drowns you whether you know how to swim or not? Some things are inevitable I guess. like death and the tears that will only flow miles away from home.
