i’m noticing yet another unprecedented parallel between true canon jake and my regular self divorced of kin and it’s honestly unsettling.

Alright, so i’ve got a coat. it’s green. it’s got METAL snaps and zippers and dodad sorta things. it’s just a tad more olive than ideal, and it has a drawstring at the waist (ugh. at least it’s not elastic.) but those are the only two things that even come close to being a flaw. the SLEEVES, UNSNAP. i’ll get pictures up in the morning. it’s got a load of pins on it at the moment, and its a tad big on me (i like my coats like that. it’s comfortable.) but it’s perfect i love this gosh dang coat okay.

i want to go outside and climb a tree, or some such, but i’m sitting in my room on a laptop fantasizing seeing as it’s 6:34 on a saturday evening.

i’m sorry, but green is such a quality colour.

This adorable little robot is designed to make sure its photosynthesising passenger is well taken care of. It moves towards brighter light if it needs, or hides in the shade to keep cool. When in the light, it rotates to make sure the plant gets plenty of illumination. It even likes to play with humans.

Oh, and apparently, it gets antsy when it’s thirsty.

The robot is actually an art project called “Sharing Human Technology with Plants” by a roboticist named Sun Tianqi. It’s made from a modified version of a Vincross HEXA robot, and in his own words, its purpose is “to explore the relationship between living beings and robots.”

I don’t care if it’s silly. I want one.

We have poured an absolutely tremendous amount of work and love and months into this project. This episode of the adventure will offer you several paths and two separate endings that we intend to build upon as the project continues. Enjoy stepping into the worn hiking boots and comfy shorts of Jake English, heir of tech empire SKAIANET as he returns home from one of his many trips aboard. There are treacherous social conundrums to navigate and new mysteries to solve. And god knows this gentleman needs all the help he can get!
