Just a little something I’d like to share concerning my favorite artist, @taylorswift
One of the things I love about her is her ability to turn something negative into a source of creative and positive strength. She controls the narrative of her life through her amazing songwriting. One of my favorite examples is the song “Blank Space”, where she takes down the media’s obsession with her dating life in a sharp and witty fashion.
With her latest album folklore, she channeled her time in isolation into a beautiful and poetic album that has brought on a huge ray of sunshine for us Swifties. I think we could all use a win in this difficult year, and Taylor has provided that for myself and many others! ❤️
To channel some of the initial vibes I was getting from the album cover, I woke up at 5 AM and went to my local park to listen to the album so I could be somewhat “in the trees” 😉 It was a very peaceful and appropriate setting to listen to this acoustic masterpiece, and I cannot wait to dive more into the lyrics and get a greater appreciation of all the thoughtfulness that went into this album. I cannot declare my favorite song just yet, but I really like “this is me trying” and “ephiphany” 🙌😊
