Havent been here in a while. 

I have some things I need to vent about :)

So im talking with my dad on the phone as they are in Mexico and getting my dad’s green card and its the night right before his interview that determines if he gets approved or not. He’s asking me about questions about me and my mental health and my childhood and my relationship with him. I cant do this. My mind is racing about everything I want to say but not everything is something he would want to hear. What should I do? I cant spring up all my trauma and all of my past thoughts on him now. Why didn’t he do this earlier? 

“tu eres diferente” yeah. because I am not your blood. And you know it. Ever since I was small I never believed you wanted me. I never felt like you cared. like do I say this to you? now? over the phone? before your most important meeting?

I feel like I have so many things that are deep in my heart that you need to know but at the same time I feel like I have avoided you for so long I dont even know how to talk to you or approach you with these sort of things. you want me to open up to you and be honest with you but I’m scared of the retaliation. You will blame me or yell at me or just stay silent and hurt and I dont want any of that. I just wish you didnt bring this up and let me suffer. i’m much more comfortable talking about this with my therapist than with you. Sorry. This is a lot for one night. I need to shower. and sleep. dont know why I vented but whatever. I dont even go on here anymore.

I can never go back to the pre-covid no mask way of living bc i woked in a shop through the pandemic and developed the most grotesque, exaggerated way of smiling to offset my angry eyebrows that is so obviously not my natural smile and if i do that without my mask its kinda evil looking but is necessary so old people dont tell me to cheer up
