My favourite thing about the latest Twitter meltdown is all the artists reanimating their dead Tumblr accounts today and immediately being greeted with hundreds of notes because even a Tumblr account they literally have not posted to in 3–5 years has more active and engaged followers than the Twitter account that they've been updating daily.

The start of the school year has been wonderful for sweet Lily. After two years of homeschool, it is a big change and a big adjustment. So far, so good. It’s extra great that she gets to be in the same school with her cousin Henry. Lily painted this as a Christmas gift for her other grandma. The amazing part for me was that she took instruction willingly - she rarely allows me any input into her art - I showed her how to paint a wave, then she painted waves and so on. The heat is causing me to have brain fog (well, I hope it’s the heat 😳) - Here’s some other stuff (mostly of no real importance 😊) from the last week or so: 🔆Lily has had this dress since she was barely 2. It is a size 4 and I bought it on sale - $3 - because, well, $3‼️ and look how cute! But, alas, it is too small. Lily, however, pulled it from the giveaway group and was like, “oh no you don’t, GranKat!” I expect she’ll find a way to wear this at her high school graduation. She says it is her lucky dress. She also has a lucky bat 🤷🏼‍♀️. What I really wish I had done is create a photo folder dedicated to only pictures of Lily wearing this - from the time she first put it on (when I had to tie the end so it wouldn’t drag the ground) until now, when it barely qualifies as a tunic. 🔆Starlight Coca-Cola is yummy - sort of like cream soda or putting a little bit of cream or milk in your Coke (or Dr. Pepper) like I do sometimes 🔆Lily lost a tooth unexpectedly and the Tooth Fairy may or may not have been prepared. 😳 🔆Unbearably hot weather is taking a toll on the garden, but we are trying to keep it going - okra, melons, and strawberries are maybe surviving. 🔆I am not a balloon fan, but Lily loves them. I’m glad her Papa blew up this big boy! 🔆Finding the Copper Lillies was a cool moment. I’m going to try to dig up a couple of the bulbs - that ground is super hard though 😳 🔆Also because of the heat, lots of Lego playing and reading (highly recommend this series for #Minecraft fans who follow #StacyPlays) 🔆We also visited the bulls (all for sale) in Crabbs Prairie - they are so good looking and Howell Dean has them so gentle - Contact Louie or Howell Dean to take a look at them. 😊 (Photo order doesn’t match post -sorry) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgHz_KUO3sp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
