Found this Ultrasonic VC-10 Portescap automatic watch cleaner via ebay and thought it was interesting.
Anyone want to try to guess what the brand of lathe this is? Or, possibly the country of manufacture?
Because the lathe was often marketed shorn of all accessories - not even a power feed along the bed or a top slide - before buying a used example it is essential to know the exact specification on offer; a basic version is useful, but a well-equipped example should be greatly preferred - even if considerable more expensive. Ideally, the lathe should be equipped with: a top slide, power feed and screwcutting (often combined in one accessory pack, sometimes two), a slow-speed attachment and a fine down-feed unit on the milling head.
Occupying a space of  756 mm x 377 mm x 245 mm (29.7" x  14.8" x 9.6") the ML360 weighed, in standard form without any accessories, 30 kg (66 lbs).

This monthâs rare find is a Flexispeed lathe. Iâm guessing this is the Mk. 1 based on the following read from lathes.co.uk. It definitely isnât the Mk. 2, as I think the last photo in the set above proves.
This model, intended to compete against the ever-popular and very cheap "Super Adept" reverted to the original 15/8" centre height but was fitted with a proper compound slide rest and a 3-step headstock pulley.
Additions
It contains a new taper cutting top cross slide, foldaway Singer electric motor with variable speed control, new three jaw self centering chuck, tailstock drilling chuck (0-3mm) and wooden base.
