It is with profound sadness that the the Board of Fire Commissioners, Chiefs Office, Officers, and Members of Hose and Engine Company No. 2 announce the passing of Life Member Ex-Captain James W Baur.
In accordance with the family, there will be no funeral arrangements at this time. Should there be any changes, we will communicate them promptly.
We ask that you keep the Baur family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.
Hose & Engine Co. 2, represented by Captain Andre Ellis (2nd from right) and 2nd Lieutenant Matthew Cameron (left), proudly welcomed new Fire Medic, Jonathan DeLeone (2nd from left), who was sworn in by Department Chief Joseph G. Ferrante (right) at the September 2025 Department meeting.
From the Company 2 archives: 30 years ago our Engineers; today, one of these guys is the Chief of Department.
Hose & Engine Company #2 Officers and Engineers were on hand for the annual District Inspection. As always, the Company ‘rigs’ looked sharp thanks to the hard work of the members who made sure our equipment remains in top working order and looking great.
There's a dire need for volunteer firefighters & fire-medics.
A fun, inexpensive night out.
