it really bothers me how k-pop idols have to hide who they’re dating

imagine having to sneak around at all hours of the night just to meet with someone you really like but you can’t even be seen with them in public or else your entitled 12 year old fans who follow you around literally everywhere and won’t leave you alone would get upset and stop buying your albums because they don’t actually like you

When I first heard of no dating contracts I thought it was just super controlling paranoid record companies, but then I realized that fans actually do boycott idols if they begin publicly dating.

like how gross and juvenile do you have to be to turn on your favorite idol b/c they’re dating someone that isnt you? do these people look at themselves in the mirror and think “yes. this is the person I want to be”

The worst part is that it’s not 12 year olds. It’s also grown women who think this behavior is acceptable. They think what they’re doing is okay…grown up people. What the hell?
