hah I bought more games 🤤 bought unicorn overlord purely because 1) its a game I've been eyeing for quite some time since its inception, and 2) kazuki ura voices the main character! (he doesnt really sound like isagi... but the thought still counts)

I will say, I really do like kaiser being more consistently characterized as a pretty chill guy who likes the smaller things in life, and on the quieter side (outside of blue lock)
I think its a nice parallel to isagi who's in a similar fashion imo
whereas isagi is on the timid end of the spectrum, I find kaiser to just be on the quiet side because that's just how he kinda is. not timid, but likes to be alone because he's simply used to it
... i still find it infinitely funnier to hate kaiser, so i still hate him 😊
best way i can describe it is that as a character, I like kaiser (regrettably). as a person, I hate his ass LOL
walking around anime expo, trying to get back into west hall after mha panel to meet up with a friend, heard some japanese, thought I heard someone familiar
I turned around
it was the jp seiyuus for izuku and shigaraki from mha standing right next to me
I quickly faced forward from both tiredness from the crowd and starstruck and then promptly scooted over to give them some room (since there was a very large and cramped line)
my day was incredible
this was also the second time I actually saw uchiyama koki in person!
was at the blue lock panel at anime expo and could pick up on the japanese so here's what some things were said! (from my memory)
I COULDN'T HEAR IT VERY WELL MOST OF WHAT THE INTERPRETER SAID WAS CORRECT I just added a few things from hearing the japanese as well!
isagi's bracelet was bought by his parents! (its slightly more nuanced in japanese, slightly implied that he wanted it and did ask)
btw this one was that it was made on the spot! it was almost like a little showcase of what their meetings were like when writing blue lock!
the more complicated pairings to write were kunigami and chigiri, reo and nagi, and sae and rin. right now, sae and rin complicated relationship needs to be solved first, lol. (not verbatim but kinda gets the points across. the interpreter switched sae's name with isagi for some reason)
isagi and bachira pairing was the most fun to write!
they do have an ending in mind, but its pretty vague and wouldn't be coming soon because they want to expand characters more (in a later question, an example brought up was kunigami's experience with wild card!) they also mentioned that if japan won 2026 world cup, they would've had to have a concrete ending, lol.
kaiser's wallpaper would be a photo he finds pretty, examples being puddles and cracks on the street since it helps calm him down! ness's wallpaper would've been either a magic circle or some elemental power background to channel his magic better!

I'm actually in summer break right now for quite some time! unfortunately though a major requirements class i needed to take was canceled so I have to self study and hope I can test out :'D also working a real job now (sorta)! and im working on hopefully some merch drops!
basically put, I am very busy nowadays 😭 I also don't have much inspiration to write... and I really just wanted to read orv 😓
