i think the feeling i experience the most when this occurs is anguish over the what if. it's the fact that, for most people in my life, things could've been different had the person not done a very specific thing. like, there's an alternative reality in which we still talk and, for some, an alternate reality where we're in a relationship. but, you had to do that one thing and now we don't talk anymore.
in short, i was water when they entered my life and they made me boil.
I want to sit crisscross with another pretty girl as we do each other’s makeup as I lean to kiss on her soft lips leaving lipstick marks on her … 💞💞💞

wished a customer happy new year yesterday and he responded “happy new moment! you get as many of those as you’d like :)” so we’re all gonna be okay

The worst thing is that there is so much potential for exploring the horror of psych wards from the angle of medical abuse, ableism, forced treatment/drugging, loss of autonomy, power imbalance, demonization, dehumanization, etc, and YET the horror genre keeps defaulting to "insane asylums and psych wards are scary because there are mentally ill people in there"
The fact that real life psych wars (or, "insane asylums") were (and often still are, to a lesser extent) already used to dehumanize people (whether they were mentally or, more often than not, completely healthy) by the people in power is already horror enough. It's not about the people it's about what was done to them. The lobotomies, the shock therapy, the isolation "therapy", the way innocent "hysteric" people were cut off from society for DARING to speak out against the powerful. Makes me sick to my stomach that there's still people out there who believe asylums are a good thing. There is too much potential harm in psych wards than potential good because despite their goal being monitoring potentially dangerous (to others or themselves) people the way they go about it does not fix the problem at hand.
“you’re allowed to relax, you know” unfortunately i cannot do that. Otherwise they will get me
