This is a side blog and I'm not very active over here at the moment. Replies and asks are welcome, but it might take a while for me to respond. I promise I'm not ignoring anyone on purpose.

Hmm, speaking of criminal!Enji, I'm imagining a version of him who drives a motorcycle and wears a black leather jacket. Reader riding with their arms wrapped tight around Enji, chest pressed to Enji's back, speeding up along the highway on a summer night.

I'm also thinking of Enji who is rich and powerful and definitely involved in something shady, who can reserve his favorite restaurant to have a lovely private dinner with his lover, just the two of them.

I like Enji and Hawks together. Definitely NOT a rare pair but I just love the emotional connection! Endeavor being there for little Hawks when no one else was and now he gets to be with him and be his flying sunshine boy 🧡😙 Top tier in my opinion even if Hawks isn't a favorite. (I also love me and Enji together but that's a personal issue 🙃💕)

I'm not big on Enji/Hawks personally, but it's definitely popular! Their shared history has a lot of potential, from hero worship to being colleagues. Hawks as a hero is a fascinating character and they complement each other in an interesting dynamic. Sunshine & grumpy is always a winning combination. <3

I love Hawks' design and his wings! There's potential for lots of smutty fun with feathers... 😈

And WELL, shipping ourselves with Enji is also a win. >:) We love our buff, grumpy bastard man who tries to do better. I never ended up developing some of my ideas for Enji and my OC, but this very blog was born as an outlet for my fawning over Enji. I'm so happy and flattered that it's become a space for other people to explore their shipping and headcanon ideas. <3

After finding out Enji and Vlad are basically the same height and almost the same build I thought about the two of them having a kind of rivalry about it when they were younger. Not in the All Might way, but in the increasingly tense way. Like Enji tries to tell himself he's straight but eventually ends up giving in at some point, probably before the marriage. (He seems pretty image obsessed and conservative imo) They lose contact after, but maybe after an event they hook up and never stop again

I like the idea of a... manly rivalry, but less mean-spirited, with more sportsmanship and mutual appreciation than the fraught relationship Enji has with Toshinori. There's that potential of two men sharing a close environment in a context of training and mutual encouragement, the possibility of looking at each other's bodies which starts out as comparison and inspiration.

Enji could very well have a chance to realize his attraction to men, and to Vlad specifically.

I agree that Enji seems the type to very carefully construct his public image, especially in his earlier career. These hookups would remain a well-guarded secret. As for Vlad, I kind of imagine that he probably wouldn't care a lot. He's not asking for a public relationship and he continues to respect Endeavor's following career. Maybe, deep down, he's privately a little pleased and flattered that he's been able to see a side of Enji that other people don't know.

If they eventually reconnect later in life, at that point they both have a different level of maturity and experience. Maybe, after Enji and Rei divorce, Enji would realize that he wants to take a shot at a more serious relationship with Vlad. ☺️

Enji/Burnin' is a cool pairing, I quickly thought the same when she was introduced. I like having another hero with fire powers who isn't a Todoroki, and I like that they're colleagues. Enji's canon relationship with his co-workers in general seemed to be professional and respectful, and that's something I liked about his recent characterization.

Edgeshot and Best Jeanist are interesting options that I'd never really considered. I like Best Jeanist as a character. <3

I personally sometimes ship Enji and Aizawa, although it's not a huge ship of mine.

I was just excited to see another Endeavor fan, even though I see him as more of a complicated, sympathetic "villian," and I really liked your ideas so I jumped the gun when I couldn't fit an introduction in. Sorry, it took me a while to get to it. I'm not very active on this sideblog these days.

I'm also always happy to find new Endeavor fans that appreciate his character. I like fanon depictions that make him more evil, more monstrous, but I like that he's nuanced and complex in canon. His evolution in the manga has been well-developed and fascinating to follow, in my opinion. The readers' first impressions of him a couple years ago were extremely different than the character he is today, and I think Horikoshi has taken a lot of risk for a pretty powerful payoff.

My favorite scenario for Endeavor is him secretly taking a "villain" (Maybe a hero he knew who felt failed by the system, but didn't want to harm anyone or that doesn't see the point in not killing very dangerous villains) because he decided they're too valuable (or he's too attached) to not reform into a top hero. But in the end they never meet his raising expectations and he ends up keeping them forever. And if they're capable of having his children, why not help them contribute to society?

Oooh, this is fascinating. Depending on how it's developed, there's potential to make it go quite dark, if that's where one wants to take the story.

I like imagining Enji as strict and adhering to a rigid sense of morality, a black and white view of what is right and what is wrong, even when he means well.

We could assume he would start out as genuinely wanting to help a criminal that he thinks can be reformed, but Enji's reasons for doing so might be less than pure and altruistic. Maybe he is attracted to the villain and drawn to them, and because this is incompatible with his values and it's unthinkable, he can't begin to admit it. He rationalizes everything away, convincing himself of the goodness in his intentions.

And if he starts to turn obsessive, jealous, possessive, feeling that maybe the criminal owes him something for all that Enji is investing in their rehabilitation... if he becomes increasingly determined to reform this criminal whatever it takes... how could the criminal fight him or refuse him?

I don't know if this is what you were going for, and I apologize if it's not your cup of tea. It's what came to my mind based on your suggestion.

There's definitely some potential that I personally find very compelling in reimagining Enji as highly self-righteous and stifling his own self-awareness, even when he wants to do something good.
