New ninja characters, the Seki 世鬼 family. Ninjas of the Mouri clan.

Volteg I hope you weren't just teasing or trolling us, and that you actually plan to show us Motonari someday. His sons showed up, and now you bring out his ninja minions. The guy better actually appear someday.

Anyway. These two aren't real people as far as I can find?

According to their bios, their names are Akisada 彰定 and Yukinori 千矩. In legends/history, the known names from the Seki clan are Seki Masatoki 世鬼政時 alongside his sons Masasada 政定 and Masanori 定矩.

I think Volteg intended them to be based on Masasada and Masanori, just with the names switched out. I don't know why they start to do this with the ninjas. Hanzo's mysterious rival in the events, Hattori Norinao, is actually historically "Hattori" Noritada. I thought they screwed up, but these new guys seems to prove that the change was purposeful.

Also the Seki ninjas are actually very distant relatives of the Imagawa (like, Yoshimoto and stuff). They live in a domain called Seki, adopted the place name as a new surname, and then at some point travelled halfway across the country to resettle in the Aki region.

This could've been so so funny in Ikesen though. Yoshimoto's cousins-X-many-times-removed being Motonari's ninja minions (and would be funnier still if they join him as his new pirate gang).
