Depending on if these are successful or not, I will be making group commissions a constant thing, as opposed to dropping hefty price tags on one client per art piece.

…Commissions are opening again…

…Alberta conservative government has revealed their latest evil deed

Remember when I said they were clawing back 200 dollars per month for those of us on disability pension who were on AISH? And letting us only make $700 per month outside of our meagre pension as opposed to the amount we were allowed prior to ADAP? And if we make more, we are penalized

Well now they’re kicking us off of it completely and leaving us all without income unless we attend “career workshops” and get “real jobs”. We’re not even allowed 1700 per month anymore. Now we’re going to get 0 per month. So this whole moving AISH clients to ADAP was a farce. This was all Danielle smith, our supreme bitch of a leader, leaving us all to die out on the streets.

I’m lucky I still live with my parents. BUT MY PARENTS WON’T BE HERE FOREVER. They’re seniors and I’m trying really hard not to panic and cry rn. I haven’t worked a “normal job” in over a decade due to being in and out of hospital and fired from every “normal job” I’ve had because of my illnesses. I don’t even have a high school diploma because I dropped out due to severe illness back then and I tried so so SO MANY TIMES to finish only to be unable to.

My job is not stable. Sometimes I get big commissions, usually I don’t.

I genuinely don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m freaking out.

I suppose now I can’t take breaks for my severe burnout. I don’t know what the future holds for me now.

I have been a fan of your work for years, adore every piece you have ever posted (that new Vaati art is INSANELY GOOD!!!). Your concern and frustration is completely understandable. I want you to know that you, your art, and the hard work you put into it are loved!!

The conservative government of Alberta is now taking away 200 dollars from the disability pension from people like me who they think are “scammers” who are “fit to work” normal jobs.

As someone who had to drop out of school many years ago and could never finish despite my many attempts and had to be hospitalized for my disorders more than once, this is yet another way that conservatives are kicking down on the most vulnerable in society.

After all, there is no hate like Christian love.

Because of this, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop taking commissions, so… now I’m opening another slot. Because I have no choice.

If you can please hire me to draw for you, DM me. I’m sorry to even be asking.
