Nebakov loomed in the distance. Ištván was there, watching. Erik could not see him from the road, but he knew, all the same. As he drew closer, he caught glimpses of a dark shape moving by the palisades. It followed Erik up the hill, around the bend, and all the way to the stables. Comfort spread under Erik's armor like blood, sticky and hot.

i had an unbelievably fun time creating this piece for @winged-fool for our mini Isterik Exchange!!! i was so delighted to prepare a gift for such a sweetheart who always leaves the most lovely comments 💖 And even more luckily for me, there was an extremely funny prompt about Runt catching Istvan and Erik in compromising positions.
