i really want to develop rage’s quirk more, like delve more into how well she can really use it, her limits, like what type of tricks she’s got, etc

but every time i do, i always draw a blank

‘Yeah but it’ll come out one way or another. And sometimes not for the better’ Rage crossed her arms, letting out a sigh. ‘Trust me, I know’ She unfolded her arms and stared at Limit for a moment. Rage smiled and clasped her hands  "It’s so nice to finally to meet someone with a similar quirk to mine”  

“Yeah, likewise.”

He couldn’t help but feel a little judged. Like someone was sizing him up, or picking apart the things he said. Like with most, he dismissed the feeling as nonsense, stuffed down deep into his gut with the rest of his feelings.

“Suppose with emotion-based quirks and enhanced strength both being fairly common, it’s bound to happen once in a while.”

“True, true” she nodded her head. Rage stood in silence for a moment before letting out a loud gasp. “I’m not disrupting your hero work am I?! I just realized this!” she felt a bit embarrassed. After all, she just struck up a conversation with a stranger in the middle walkway. Luckily for them, no one was really around to pay any mind.  Rage let out an awkward laugh “I am so sorry”

“It’s not as simple as ‘just relaxing’. If I don’t stay tense, I can’t use my powers. I get too tense, someone could get hurt.”

Limit idly bounced his leg, hands on his hips. He never liked talking about this kind of thing while in costume. It felt unprofessional to air such complaints while ‘in character’, such as it was. Still, with no one else around it wasn’t such a big deal.

“Gotta keep it all bubbling under the surface, at all times. Can’t let it go, but can’t let too much out. That’s just the way it is.”

Absolutely no one asked BUT

I made her for a Pathfinder game and I’m gonna rework her a bit and play her here as a mha character. She’s a crossdressing vigilante named Marina Moreno, aka Blackjack.

The city we’re playing in has a local legend in the form of Blackjack, a masked vigilante who’s fought for the poor and oppressed for two hundred years. The previous Blackjack retired a decade ago and she’s the latest successor. She fights as a man while in costume to preserve the myth that Blackjack has always been the same person. She’s got no quirk but she’s a master of disguise and a trained swordsman with lots of gadgets and hidden weapons, and also she can disassociate on command.

Rage looked up at Heca for a moment and stared. ‘OH MY GOD’ she thought. Judging by the tone of Heca’s voice, she figured that it was better leaving things unsaid. ‘BOY’ she blurted out, quickly changing the subject ‘HE’S PERFECT! Thank you, Lu. I’ll take better care of him this time’

“Eh, don’t worry too much about it. He’s gonna fall apart to pieces anyway. Such is the circle of life… And then we’ll just make another one!”

She shrugs. “Well- Did you have any other news? Anything else going on?”

‘I’ll spend whatever time I have with him count’ she held the small skeleton closer.  ‘Well, I got a new costume’ she gestured at her arms and legs. ‘I..uhhh..the other one ripped and so I got a new. What do you think?”

‘MY SWEET BOY!’ she screeched. Rage took Neo Fuckhands gently in her arms. ‘He’s perfect’ She held him close, admiring his new look. At that moment, she forgot all her worries.  ‘Lu, you are the best person in the world and if you asked me to kill someone right now, I would do it in a heartbeat’ she said with a serious look on her face. 

“I’ll keep that in mind, but don’t worry. The last time I wanted someone dead, I just killed ‘em, haha.”

Silence. Their smile and optimism: Gone. 

“Wow. Actually I shouldn’t be joking about that, never mind.”
