My heart breaks for you Teddy, but my heart breaks for my other son because no matter what you or your dad or anybody else thinks, Daniel’s not a bad person. He’s a sick person, he’s a damaged person. But he’s not bad, and he’s had such a raw deal. His life, so I’m going to help him, as much as I can. As much as he’ll let me, so he has a chance, that’s all. Just like the rest of us, if we’re lucky.

Did you know

There is a thing, a disease entity called lipedema. Google it.

Nutshell: Fat and edema (fluid retention) accumulate abnormally in the legs (for unknown reasons) and this fat cannot be lost with diet and exercise. There is pain associated with the fat on the legs. It can be debilitating and disfiguring. It can be inherited, it appears almost exclusively in women, and can affect any body type or weight.

It is NOT due to lifestyle or diet.

I have seen people who look like they have this - with huge, wobbly, seriously uncomfortable looking butts and hips and legs but with relatively normal upper bodies. I always wondered what that was. It doesn’t look like normal fatness (whatever that is) at all.

I had no idea this even existed until today.
