*I forgot to add: if Gemlings of the same gemstone meld together, the new Gem will definitely have that gemstone, but they might also display physical traits of the other parent. (ex: hair, facial features, body type, etc)
After much delay and a lot of rewording, here’s my neat little guide on my version of the “gem egg hell” AU ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ*:･ﾟ✧
The idea being that it’d be silly for there to be multiple “clones” of the same Gem running around, so this way you can have lots of babies, but only end up with a couple of actual Gems in the end. (Also, you by no means have to follow this, I just wanted to explain what’s goin on with my stuff at least//)
