Welcome! Hotter Than Hell is a Hellaverse rewrite that I and other artists are currently in the process of writing. This used to be a rewrite comic called Highway From Hell, and the majority of the first chapter is archived here for you to read. Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress and any feedback or help is appreciated!

Monster Daddy Lucifer

Concept:

I want to make an Evil Lucifer actually. A hot evil DILF who makes monsters for fun and sits on his throne all day and has his creations do his bidding. Maybe he and Lilith used to bond over making monsters before they split, with Lilith’s creations being more like hellborn people and Lucifer’s creations being more mindless vessels for him to take out his frustration on heaven and the sinners stuck in hell, because in my rewrite Lucifer hates sinners. He sees them as fools who wasted his gift of free-will at best, and eternal punishment from heaven at worst. While he’d never harm a Hellborne citizen, Lucifer gladly makes horrifying mindless creatures in his workshop to torment sinners in his domain. Imagine a kid who torments the neighbor kids by telling them about all the scary monsters in the dark that are out to get you. Lucifer is like that, only he makes the monsters with sinner’s torment in mind. The monsters are wired to not harm hellborne, only sinners, so in some rings, the Hellborne have made zoos to house and observe some of Lucifer’s more interesting creations, which of course inspires Lucifer to make flashier monsters, even cuddly ones for a petting zoo, so long as those petting them are Hellborne.

He’s so busy creating monsters of course that he can’t be bothered to visit his own daughter. He would rather put in the time to create a homunculus to spend time with his daughter than Actually spend time with his daughter. “Sorry, Daddy cant take you to the Zoo today. Rodger will take you instead :)” and it’s this fleshy blob with limbs and eyes in the wrong places wearing a little bellhop outfit or something. It would be holding a smiley face balloon.

Capital N Neglect will be the name of the Daddy Issues Game in my rewrite. That and Lucifer sees Charlie’s plan to rehabilitate sinners as a pointless endeavor that will only end in her disappointment, just like all the other flash-in-the-pan hobbies Charlie has picked up over the centuries (my rewrite of Charlie will have ADHD. Same with her Dad. He forgets she exists for long stretches of time until someone mentions her and then he remembers he has a daughter again. Sad.)

As much as I love this current rewrite, I remember a rewrite concept that my dad and I were talking about. What about an anthology rewrite of the hellaverse, akin to The Twilight Zone or Creepshow? It would lean more towards the darker elements of Hell but would still keep comedic elements.

I don’t really have time to work on it (as we miiight do a revamp of this rewrite and I’ve got quite a bit in my schedule), but I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on it!

Related to the post I just reblogged, I just wanna say that I’m using the critical tags just for traction. I think this community in the recent weeks has turned pretty damn toxic. To the point, that these critical accounts are on par with the gung-ho stans. And this rewrite, as I’ve stated before, is more critical towards the series itself and not the people behind it (even though Vivienne has done some things I don’t necessarily agree with). So, this rewrite will be more focused on creating a different interpretation of the concepts shown in the show. And if you’re solely focused on talking about the cast and crew, rather than the show, please do not interact with this blog.

We’re still planning on posting this rewrite, so don’t worry!

I hate that I’ve gotta reblog this but I can see this happening yet again in the community. Especially with the weird anon stuff and other controversies as of late. Just see this post as a “don’t make me tap the sign” sorta thing.

The whole pooplover6669 thing was disgusting but thankful tumblr did its job and deleted their account.

I want to share ways that you can protect yourself from any of attempts of "trolling" from the standom because it seems like that account was targeting critical accounts only.

Turn off "allow asks with media" and maybe the submissions feature. If your blog relies on image submissions, maybe have your followers post their submissions as a post on their blog and just "@" you instead.

2. Turn on "only allow messages from Tumblrs you follow". The troll was able to send messages and images to someone.

3. Go to tumblr.com/settings/account and go to the 'Content labels' section and blur or hide any content just in case trolls start posting nasty images in the tags.

Making a big title to get your attention

Now that I have your attention the Helluva Boss fandom needs to be warned about something

Earlier I went onto Tumblr to see if anything new was going on and I see four new messages in my DMs and an ask in my inbox so I open my messages first and see some blurred pictures. The first message this account wrote to me was "poop" I'm not joking

And I see the ask and it's scat fetish porn of Helluva Boss characters. These pictures weren't blurred. At all

The account that sent me this is @/pooplover6669. This person sent this to a minor's account

I'm just making this post to warn other accounts. I don't know if this person targets only criticals or the whole fandom, maybe I'm their only victim.

Anyways, if you see them trying to message you, block immediately

Yes she is, along with Stella! She is much younger and is still a fledgling in this rewrite, but still very smart and values her family. They won’t make an appearance until later on, but I promise you won’t be disappointed by them! We don’t have official refs for them at the moment, so here’s a gif of these lovely ladies!

Ooh I like that angle! I feel like our Charlie definitely struggled to fit in with the royalty around her, let alone her peers. And I can see that leading her down some immature paths as a teenager. But I will pose the idea though of Helsa making Charlie less of an outright mean girl, but further enabling her to feel like she couldn’t fail. Because our little Morningstar has definitely got some gifted kid burnout 😅 But yeah, either way she was gonna be a bad influence on her.

And as for the pink stuff, I had the idea of Charlie being a fan of more traditionally feminine stuff, but doesn’t exactly present as such? In comparison to Vesper, who is literally a pink moth demon, but is a lot more stoic. I also wanted her to have a stereotypical cringy teen phase without going for the emo phase that the original show had, so I went with a mcbling vibe!

(And yeah, I recognize that if she was 300 years old, her teen years definitely wouldn’t have lined up with 2000s bimbo fashions. But 1. Hell’s time isn’t linear and she was already aging slowly because of demon biology and 2. Rule of funny :3)

Oooh interesting question!! We’ve actually begun discussions of having them as side characters. We had the idea of her perhaps working for Velvette. I (@stillwaitin76) actually got inspired to do a concept doodle of Helsa after seeing this ask! All I can say is that The Von Eldritch’s are lot more on the lovecraftian side of things in this version, at least in appearance.
