An eternal conflict betwixt primordial forces. The strength of the crystals’ will has reverted Materia to her original form — COSMOS — for the sake of the world’s balance, deeming her successor too volatile for the role. Chaos’ will remains fickle, and thus remains host to SPIRITUS.

The delicate equilibrium of the world is ever threatened by the eternal pull of these wayward gods set to dominate their cosmic foil. Enter WORLD B, a realm serving as a mirror to the universe, a replica of true reality. Its existence is sustained by conflict and memory, as well as the energy they produce. This energy originates from the warriors they summon to serve their wills. While a vicious battle eternally divorces gods, there is a mutual understanding of the importance of their roles, and their influence on the realm they inhabit.

When the fate of reality itself becomes threatened, that understanding is tested and a temporary armistice is called.

DAWN DIVIDE is a Dissidia based roleplay group with a focus on individuality. Gain EXP by writing, explore the land of World B, purchase items, and embark on quests tailored to muse development.

We’re looking to relaunch the group sometime in early March. Before then, we’ll make another announcement post with specifics regarding the group, how to apply/reapply, and other details. The new group will focus on personal development, so there will not be the added pressure of keeping up.

As of today, EXP is no longer being tallied as we prepare for the revamp! We will be taking reservations early this month to remove inactives and allow for muse considerations prior to fully joining. Details of the revised premise will be announced alongside reservation time.

So after reviewing the poll, the majority of you would like to pursue a Dissidia based plot. It will not revolve solely around fighting ( this will be adapted better for all writers ), as we understand some people are not comfortable with that. There will be elements of Dissidia woven in to bring something familiar to the table, but we’ll be adding in our own touch as well. Not all elements of Phoenix Down that you enjoyed will be shelved, however! Keep an eye out! We hope this revamp will keep you on your toes and excited! We’re hoping to create an environment that develops both your muse and your writing, at your own pace. There was a considerable enough amount of votes to preserve the original plot and structure, so we will be taking that into consideration to keep everyone happy.

In the meantime, you’re welcome to continue your threads as you see fit.
