If you're still accepting prompts: Eddie telling his SO he likes being tickled? (Could be Steve or reader, whichever suits you) Sorry if that's not specific enough ><
"You don't necessarily have to stop you know?" Eddie spoke, the words he picked sounded confident but his tone sheepish.
"It" referred to his and Steve's tough and tumble approach at physical touch. They'd only been dating a few weeks so most things were new to their relationship, touch being one of them. It wasn't like either of them didn't ache and pine to feel each other, they just didn't know how to react to it when it came by accident. They weren't touchy when they were just friends, they just needed to find their form of affection.
Which is why it caught Eddie off guard when Steve leaped towards him full force with a shit eating grin plastered on his face. Steve had decided there and then that their awkward phase was done. With Eddie still dumbfounded, Steve held his wrists about his head, pinning them there for safe keeping before he struck for attack.
Like a predator, Steve watched over as his boyfriend shivered, a pink hue spreading across his cheeks and over the tips of his ears. Eddie's eyes darted from side to side, his eyeballs rolling up to get any view of Steve's hands at all.
"Ticklish?" Harrington questioned, his voice laced with a silky tone. Of course he already knew the answer to that question, how couldn't he? Steve knew he was ticklish, everyone is ticklish and Eddie was no exception. He'd seen it. A brief poke from Gareth when he had lifted up some music equipment, daring him not to drop it. A snide remark from his uncle Wayne every time he spoke about Eddie as a child. Even when Robin practically begged to braid his hair, he could hear little snickers sneaking out his betraying lips when her nails swooped against his neck.
"Enjoying yourself?" Steve taunts. "You haven't once asked me to stop, or even tried to escape." Eddie's face pales, his entire demeanor changing, body uncomfortably stiffening under the pressure of finding the correct words to be able to admit it to Steve. He doesn't know why he cares so much, Steve's having fun and he knows he would never judge him. What is there to judge? Eddie likes laughing, sue him.
"I'm having fun if you are too." Eddie says. It's the truth, and as he thinks of how to elaborate he's interrupted. "Good. I wouldn't be doing it if I thought you genuinely didn't like it. Plus, you're so cute when you're all giggles Eds."
They bump heads like cats, sickly sweet and so loved up. Eddie would go through a thousand awkward stages if it meant he could have that moment again.
